October 15, 2011. Thanks to the generosity of the Blue & Gold fleet, we were able to take 7 residents and 4 support volunteers on a one hour cruise around the bay. The informational tour took us under the architechtural wonder known as the Golden Gate bridge and around Alcatraz island. For many of our residents, this was their first time on the bay. I can't tell you how gratifying it is to see them smiling and laughing as our support volunteers helped them take in the views.
