Don't miss Help Is On The Way XVII on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco. This star-studded event benefits various Bay Area AIDS organizations and features a constellation of stars including Shirley Jones, Jai Rodriguez, Paula West, Susan Anton, Patrick Cassidy, Carole Cook and many more.
AND even though Maitri is not a named beneficiary for this event, if you identify MAITRI as a "designated agency" when you purchase your tickets, Maitri will receive a portion of that ticket's sale revenue.
REAL BAD is Real Good for Maitri
As a beneficiary of the September 26, 2010 Grass Roots Gay Rights West (GRGR/West) signature fundraising event, Real Bad XXII (www.realbad.org), Maitri is honored to be a part of a Folsom Street Fair tradition. This landmark party is distinguished for gathering 2,000 guests from around the world for a leather dance party while raising funds for LGBT charities with local impact in San Francisco. Maitri is grateful for the support of GRGR/West and for the remarkable organizers, volunteers and attendees in making this incredible event a success – Thank you!

Maitri at Starbelly Restaurant
On August 14, 2009, the Castro neighborhood welcomed Starbelly Restaurant http://www.starbellysf.com which has quickly become the place-to-be-seen. Maitri was honored to be a beneficiary of the preview party; the support continued with proceeds from the sales of Starbelly's "Maitri Michelada" during the restaurant's opening week benefiting Maitri. Brought to the Castro by the all-star team behind the acclaimed Beretta restaurant and featuring Chef Adam Timney's California comfort cuisine, Starbelly is a “must-go”.

Drink for a Cause
On June 9, 2011, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation invited guests to drink for a cause at the Tonic Bar in Cow Hollow. Maitri was honored to be the named beneficiary of this fun-filled (and down-right hilarious) event where our fabulous volunteers sold over $400 in raffle tickets and donated an additional $300 in bartender's tips. Kudos to the event organizers, Katie and Michelle for making everything run seamlessly through mesmerizing ballgames on multiple screens and rambunctious frat boys.
